Donald Bernard Wyatt passed away at his home in St. James, Mo. on September 11, 2011. He was 71 years, 8 months, and 25 days of age.
Donald Wyatt was born on December 17, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo. to his parents: Frank R. Wyatt Jr. and Ruth Ilene (Schmidt) Wyatt. Donald was united in marriage to Marcia Jane Wells on April 29, 1972 in Kent, Ohio.
Don was a family man who always had time for his wife and his boys., Don was in the Scouts for 10 years. He was active in the Trinity Episcopal Church in St. James and was a Lay Reader for many years. He worked many years at UMR now S & T, in the Circulation Department at Library. He loved to deer hunt, and loved to take road trips to see the Ozarks. Donald was a good and loving husband, father, grandfather. He was a man of high integrity.
Donald Wyatt is survived by his loving wife of the home: Marcia Jane (Wells) Wyatt of St. James; three sons: Craig Donald Wyatt and wife Carrie of Whitewater, Wisconsin; Matthew Dwain Wyatt of St. James; and Patrick Bernard Wyatt and wife Amy of St. James; three brothers: Frank R. Wyatt III of Houston, Texas; Gary Allen Wyatt of Sullivan; and Rick Kevin Wyatt of St. James; five grandchildren: William, Carmen, and Megan Wyatt; and Jared and Jason Brim; along with a host of extended family and friends. Donald Wyatt will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Donald Wyatt in death are his parents: Frank R. Jr. and Ruth Ilene (Schmidt) Wyatt; and one son Douglas James Wyatt on February 3, 1981.
Services
Visitation for Donald Wyatt will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in St. James, Mo. with Steve Barber officiating with Sharon Dolisi, organist. Internment of the ashes will be at the Miles Cemetery near St. James with Full Military Honors.
Memorials may be given to the Trinity Episcopal Church in St. James, Mo. Cards are available at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
