Donald Elmer Don White of St. James passed away quietly at his home on Friday September 5, 2014. He was 78 years 9 months and 25 days of age.

Don, as he was known by his family and friends, was born November 11, 1935 at Seaton, Mo., the son of the late Elmer White and Dorene Malone Williams.

Don White was united in marriage to Janice Thomas. She survives at the family home.

Don White is survived by his beloved wife Janice Thomas White of St, James, along with one son Shawn White and Kelsey Dixon of St. James and Daughter: Sheila Taylor of St. Charles. Sisters: Donna Brock of Leavenworth, Kansas and Daphanane Mounce of Steelville, Mo. and one precious grand-daughter Mackenzie Taylor of St. Charles, Mo.

Services
Don White will lie in state from 5-8 P.M. Sunday September 7th, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday September 8, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home with Mick Thrasher and Raymond James officiating. Claudine Parrish will sing Amazing Grace. Burial will be in the family plot at the Asher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the St. James Golden Age Center or the St. James Caring Center.
