Don William Watson of St. James, MO passed away  Sunday, January 3, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident in St. James, MO.  He was 43 years 10 months 27 days of age.

Don, the son of the Stanley and the late Sharon Phoenix Watson, was born February 7, 1972 in Rolla, MO.

He is survived by his children:  Cordell Watson of St. James and Kira Watson of Salem; his father, Stanley Watson of St. James; two brothers:  Wade and wife, Cheryl of St. James and Robert of St. James; two sisters:  Sherrie Martin and husband, Patrick of Cuba, MO and Penny Watson of Steelville, MO.  He is further survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.

He was a loving father.  He and his son, Cordell,  loved to ride four wheelers together.  He was a great little brother and a great uncle;  he spent a lot of time with his family.  He had a deep love for his family and friends.  He was never far away if someone needed anything.  He would give you the shirt off his back if need be.  There was nothing that he wouldn't do for you.   He enjoyed family barbeques, shooting pool, and working on trucks.  He worked  as a heavy equipment operator for Voss Quarry for 16 years.

Visitation for Don Watson will be conducted on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from  6 - 8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Wilbur Ness officiating.  Pallbearers will be: Tylor Barnicle, Kevin Watson, Austin Watson, Robert Allen Watson, Mike Chandler. and Chris Palmer.  Burial will be in the Asher Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

Memorials may be given to the Don Watson Children Trust Fund.  Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
