Denise Marion Newkirk of Dixon, Mo., passed away Wednesday evening at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Mo. She was 37 years of age.

Denise was born in Amarillo, Texas the daughter of Richard Ruel and Erika Eberline Roberts.

Denise is survived by her father Richard Ruel Robets and his wife Mary Roberts of Dixon., first husband Todd Davis of Texas and second husband Shane Newkirk of Dixon, Mo. Daughters: Brittani Elaine Davis of Sullivan, Cassidy Lexus Davis of Cuba, Megan Elizabeth Newkirk of Dixon. Brothers: Jessie Roberts (Shelly) of Waynesville, Jason Roberts of Dixon, Adam Sharp (Julie) of Florida, Bradley Wood of Vienna and Jacob Wood of Iberia, Mo. Along with one very special Grandson Brantley James Davis of Sullivan and Niece Erika Roberts of Dixon.

She is preceaded in death by her mother Erika Roberts.

Denise Newkirk was a tomboy and loved the outdoors. She loved to ride horses when she was younger and loved dogs. She enjoyed making crafts and especially loved line and two step dancing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Service celebrating her life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 22, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Jerry Dulle officiating. Burial of the ashes will be in the Kinder Cemetery in Cuba.

Visitation will be held prior to the Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 22, 2018, at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
