Debra Kay Latham of St. James, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 in St. James, Missouri. She was 65 years of age.

Debra, the daughter of the Checkley and Dorothy (Davis) Wester, was born December 21, 1959 in Rolla, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jerry Douglas Latham on April 7, 1988 in Greenwood, Mississippi.

Debra is survived by her husband, Jerry Latham of St. James, Missouri; her mother, Dorothy Wester of Rolla, Missouri; her two sons, Jerry Latham, Jr. of St. James, Missouri and Matthew Latham (Angela Blattel)of St. James, Missouri; two sisters, Gwyn Klinedinst of Rolla, Missouri and Dolores Debault of Yancy Mills, Missouri; and granddaughter, McKenzie Rose Latham of St. James, Missouri.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Checkley Wester and daughter-in-law, Emma Latham.

Debra was devoted to her family. She visited her husband at the Missouri Veterans Home, and she helped coordinate his care. She was a great support system to her sons and granddaughter. Having a quiet spirit and soft heart, she loved nature. She enjoyed watching sunsets and taking care of her animals. She loved spoiling her dogs, and her dogs were her true loyal companions. Her sweet spirit will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mac McLendon, Kenny Harrison, Matthew Latham, James Conway, Larry Asberry, and Louis Fisher. Burial will be in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens in Rolla, Missouri.
