Darlene Williams of St. James, Mo. passed from this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 after a brief illness. Darlene Williams was 76 years, 5 months, and 29 days of age.

Darlene Williams was born on August 30, 1935 in Sandusky, Ohio to her parents: Harold and Floybelle (Morgan) Koch. Darlene married Terry G. Williams of St. James on April 5, 1980.

Darlene Williams was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. Darlene loved to cook and play Bingo. She grew breautiful flowers and plants and also loved her crossword books! She spent many hours on the back deck, totally enjoying the hundreds of hummingbirds she was committed to feeding every season. She was kitchen supervisor at Boys and Girls Town in St. James for many years before retiring. Darlene is also a member of the Women's Auxillary at the St. James VFW. Darlene will be sadly missed by those who knew her.

Darlene Williams is survived by her husband of the home: Terry G. Williams of St. James, Mo.; three daughters: Ginny (Burley) Coleman of Columbia, Mo.; Patty (Burley) Young of Ashland, Mo.; and Karen (Burley) Crane of Columbia, Mo.; three sons: Mike Burley of Udall, Kansas; Scott Burley; and Mark Burley both of Columbia, Mo.; four brothers: Duane (Butch) Koch; Keith Koch; Jack Koch and Spence Blatnik all of Sandusky, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Along with a host of other family members and friends.

Preceding Darlene Williams in death are her parents: Harold and Floybelle (Morgan) Blatnik Koch and one brother: Keith.

Visitation for Darlene Williams will be on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Steve Cable officiating.
