Darlene Mary Jones Groh passed away at her home in St. James, Missouri on Saturday, June 6, 2009. She was 69 years, 1 month and 1 days of age.

Darlene Groh was born on May 5, 1940 in St. James, Missouri to her parents: Homer and Martha (Miller) Swyers. She was first married to Roy Jones on April 21, 1956. After his death she then married Dean Groh.

Darlene was a loving and kind person. She loved her children, and grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Darlene Groh is survived by her husband of the home: Dean Groh of St. James, Missouri; one son: Rick Jones and wife Kay of St. James, Missouri; one daughter: Angelia Montgomery and husband Shane of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother: Lloyd Swyers of St. James, Missouri; two sister: Leloa Fuhring and Ruby Matlock both of St. James, Missouri; along with 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Darlene Groh in death is her parents: Homer and Martha (Miller) Swyers; husband: Roy M. Jones on January 1, 1989; on infant daughter: Jennifer Jones; and two brothers: Robert and Don Swyers.

Services
Visitation for Darlene Groh will be on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Bonham officiating. Music will be Amazing Grace, Sheltered In The Arms Of God and The Old Rugged Cross. Pallbearers will be Brian Swyers, Danny Matlock, David Pilotte, Steven Swyers, Jeff Swyers, and Joshua Swyers. Burial will be in the family plot in the Matlock Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri.
