Danny Charles Badgley of Rolla, passed away suddenly Thursday March 3, 2016 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. He was 48 years of age.

Danny was born June 2, 1967 in Rolla, Mo., the son of Charles Hugh Badgley and Pat Roark Skyles.

He is survived by his mother Pat Skyles and husband Frank of St. James, Sisters: Cynthia Kay Mozlen of Rolla, Christina Woolsey of Rolla and Tara Duncan of Steelville. Grandmother: Avenell Richards of St. James; Aunts: Billie Day and husband Louie of St. Clair, Pam Branstetter and husband Dick of St James, Anita Plemmons and husband Don of St James; Uncles Carl Roark Jr and wife Norma of St James; Nieces Destiny Roemer, Trinity Duncan, Journey Birdsong and Cordilia Woolsey; Nephews Jaden Woolsey, Alex Molzen and Andrew Molzen along with many cousins.

Danny is preceded in death by his grandfather Carl Roark Sr. , brother-in-law John Thomas Duncan and step grandfather Lawrence Richards.

He loved his time with family. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, riding horses and taking buggy rides. Danny even drove a tractor with Uncle Dick. Television was important to Danny, he watched the Price is Right, but his favorite show was Hee Haw and was sometimes he became impatient until the next week show came on, so when tapes of Hee Haw came out, they were purchased for Danny. Danny like to have fun and often was told he was full of bologna, which amused him. He like to be teased and also like to tease people and at time he would tell people to Chill. Danny had many difficulties from birth but had much enjoyment from life. He has now been released from his frail body to a home that  knows no pain.

Danny Badgley will lie in state from 6-8 pm Tuesday March 8th, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Mick Thrasher officiating. Hymns; Jesus Loves the Little Children, Jesus Loves Me and The Bible Song, will be played for his funeral. After cremation his ashes will be in the family plot at the St James Cemetery. Memorial may be given to the Future Care of Rolla.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
