Christopher Anthony Schuchmann of Rolla passed away suddenly March 11, 2016 at his home in Rolla. He was 24 years 4 months and 20 days of age.
Chris as he was known by his family and friends was born October 21, 1991 in Ft. Still Oklahoma, the son of Lonnie Schuchmann and Melinda Gray Cunningham.
Chris is survived by his parents Lonnie Schuchmann and his wife Jill of St. James and Melinda Cunningham and husband Ron of St. James. Paternal grandparent Martha Barett of St. James, and Maternal Grandparent Sharon Evans of Cuba. Brothers and Sisters: Bryan Caulkins of Illinois; Tyler Schuchmann of St James; Richard Livingston of St James; Joe Cunningham of Union, Mo; Natisha Cunningham of Union; Monique Cunningham of Union; Christian Cunningham of Rolla; Tosha Carl of St. James; Randi Schuchmann of Sullivan, Mo; Brittanie Durbin of St. James; Emily Dension of Florida; Krystal Cunningham of Rolla and Haylee Denison of Florida. Aunts: Scarlett Nelson of Texas; Tara Lunz of California; Bonnie John of St. James Melody Raney of St James; Michelle Barrett of St. James; Crystal Clark and husband Doug of St. James; Joey Gray of Texas; Jason Evans of Wildwood, Mo; Scott John of St. James.
He is preceded in death by his step-mother Dawn Schuchmann; Paternal grandfather Joe Barett; and Maternal Grandfather Charles Evans.
Chris loved all his family and especially his sister and best buddy Brittanie Durbin. He loved animals and volunteered at the St. James Humane Society and Show-Me Labs. Chris had health problems but was always willing to help people when he could. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris Schuchmann will lie in state from 6-8 pm Monday March 14, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday March 15, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Don Martin and Scott John Officiating. Pallbears will be Tyler Schuchmann, Ricky Livingston, Caleb John, Joey Gray, Jason Evans and Dave Holleman. Burial will be in the family plot at the St James Cemetery.
