Christopher Alan Mayberry of St. James passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri. He was 40 years of age.

Christopher, the son of Alan Mayberry and Mary Evon (Keele) Briley, was born July 7, 1983 in Hermann, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Julie Ann Sawyer on February 29, 2012 in Hermann, Missouri.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Julie Mayberry of St. James, Missouri; three sons: David Lowell Mayberry, Blake Alan Mayberry, and Gunner James "Sparkplug" Mayberry of St. James, Missouri; father, Alan Mayberry of Owensville, Missouri; mother, Mary Evon Briley of Big Sandy, Tennessee; sister, Hessie Pierpoint of Big Sandy, Tennessee;  half-sister, Dorothy Mayberry of Owensville, Missouri; step-sister, Tracey Turner of Bland, Missouri; aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews.

Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bert and Hessie Mayberry; brother, David Mayberry; and uncles, Donnie Mayberry and Brucie Mayberry.

Christopher was a loving husband and father. He loved spending time with his family. When he was younger, he worked with a tree trimming business. He was a gun enthusiast. Barbecuing for his family was a favorite pastime. He liked antique classic cars. He enjoyed sitting outside on his front or back porch. He liked off roading and doing 360s in the snow. He wanted to travel after the kids grew up.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
