Christina Hines, 57 years of age, of St. James,  passed away at her home early Monday morning, June 3, 2019.  She was born on November 26, 1961 in Canal Zone, Panama to her parents: Thomas and Ella Aukstakalnis Petersen.

Christina is survived by her husband, John Hines, brother: Thomas Petersen and wife Maria, sister: Mary Swenning and husband Terry; sister: Margie LePage and husband Chris, brother: Charles Petersen, and several nieces, nephews, and aunts.

Christina is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Ella (nee Aukstakalnis) Petersen, brother: James "Duke" Petersen, and sister: Lucille Petersen.

Christina was a horticulture specialist and an x-ray technologist.  She liked cooking, crafts, knitting, sewing, gardening and camping.  On especially warm days Christina liked riding the Harley with John. She will be missed by family and friends.

Funeral and Mass will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home in Dearfield Beach, Florida.

Arrangements are by the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
