Christina Roe Lenox of St. James, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri. Christina was 90 years, 4 months, and 28 days of age.

Christina was born on January 12, 1918 to her parents: John W. and Naomi (Cox) Wood. She was united in marriage to Raymond Lenox on November 19, 1939 in St. James, Missouri. To this union one daughter was born.

Christina was a graduate of John F. Hodge High School in St. James, Missouri. She loved basketball and football games; and rooted for the St. Louis Cardinals and loved attending her grandsons baseball games. She raised cattle; made quilts; did flower arrangements; and was a very good homemaker. She was a faithful member of the First Church of God in St. James, Missouri. "You were the Best Mom and Grandmother ever! We'll miss your love, unending support, your constant cheering from the sidelines. Thanks for the Joy and Fun you always added to our lives."

Christina is survived by a daughter: Charlyne Miller and husband Mark of Fairfax Station, Virginia; and two grandchildren: Colin and Brennan and an extended family; she will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Preceding Christina in death is her parents: John W. and Naomi (Cox) Wood; her husband: Raymond Edward Lenox on June 1, 1989; three brothers: Charlie Wood; Austin Wood; Kenneth Wood; and one sister Mildred (Wood) Mizell.

Services
Christina will be in state from 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Reverend Terry Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Miller, Brennan Miller, Colin Miller, Todd Mizell, Myron Mizell, Frank Meurer. Honorary pallbearer will be Noel Mizell. Burial will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
