Charlotte R. Williams passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Missouri Baptist-Sullivan Hospital.  She was 72 years, 2 months, and 2 days of age.

Charlotte, the daughter of Adolphus and Alice Faye Cragle Jackson, was born October 24, 1943.  She was united in marriage to John Williams.

She is survived by her husband, John of the home; one son, Doug and wife, Charlotte J. of St. James; and two grandchildren:  J. D. Williams and Paige Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Charlotte was a loving wife and mother.  She had a cheerful personality, and she loved visiting with people.  She loved collecting salt and pepper shakers; she had over 300 pairs in her collection.  She enjoyed bluegrass music and attending bluegrass festivals.  For several years, she and her husband participated in tractor pulls; she won many trophies.
She was a member of the Owensville Threshers; she was the secretary for 12 years.  She was a member of the St. James Christian Church.

Charlotte Williams will lie in state from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday December 29, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, MO with Bro. Aaron Jeffers officiating.   Pallbearers will be Bill Vogeler, Bob Vogeler, Joe Sargent, Jr., Jim Branscum, Bobby Grayson, and Billy Grayson.  Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.
