Charles Richard Sanders passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Missouri. He was 77 years, 2 months, and 18 days of age.

Charles was born on December 1, 1930 to his parents Charles Richard Sr. and Mary Ellen (Crook) Sanders.

Charles worked for the McDonald Douglas as a material handler.

Charles is survived by his wife of the home: Leona Mae (Sapp) Sanders; one daughter: Julie Cantyne and husband Joseph of Hazelwood, Missouri and two grandchildren: Christina Horton and Jina Cantyne; along with a host of family and friends. Charles will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Services
Military graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the St. James Missouri Veteran's Home Cemetery in St. James, Missouri with Reverend Amy Turner officiating. Burial will be in the St. James Missouri Veteran's Home Cemetery.
