Obituary

Charles Everett Glenn of St. James, Mo. passed away at his home on November 16, 2015.  He was 76 years and 24 days of age.

Charles Glenn was born on October 23, 1939 at Safe, Mo. to his parents: Charles Wesley and Beulah Fern Harrison Glenn.  He was united in marriage to  Joan Lee Grable on May 17, 1985 at Steelville, Mo.

Charles Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  Charles was an auctioneer for all of his life.  He also worked for Boys Town of Missouri for 18 years.

Charles Glenn is survived by his wife of the home: Joan Glenn; children: Jeffery Glenn and fiance' Sherry of St. James, Mo.; Susan Clancy and husband Les Clancy of Ozark, Mo.;  Stepchildren: Jennie Pope and husband Stewart of St. James, Mo.; Robin Ahart and husband Kevin of St. James, Mo.; Kellie Barnett and husband Dave Sr. of Cuba, Mo.; Leslie Clancy Jr. and wife Susan of Ozark, Mo.; along with 13 Grandchldren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Preceding Charles Glenn in death are his parents: Wesley and Fern Glenn and sister Edna June Glenn.

Visitation for Charles Glenn will be on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Dale Bishoff and Rex Davis officiating.  Rex Davis the vocalist will sing: Go Rest High On That Mountain and  Precious Memories by Glenn Sap.  Military Honors will be at the funeral home following the funeral. Pallbearers will be: Scott Holt, Kevin Ahart Jr., Ben White, Ryan Pope, Caleb Clancy, and David Barnett Jr.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Logen Holt and Gene Lefebvre. Burial will be in the family plot at the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery St. James, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the St James VFW Post 5608.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
