Obituary

Carol Ann Bock of St. James passed away at her home on December 9, 2013. She was 61 yrs., 2 months and 3 days of age.

Carol Bock was born on October 6, 1952 in St. Louis, Mo. to Chester Schuenenmeyr and Maralyn Rauter Schuenemeyer. Carol Schuenemeyer was united in marriage to Kevin Bock on September 27, 1975 in Owensville, Mo.

Carol worked at K-Marts for 22 years and always had a smile on her face when you would see her. She was a member of the First Church of God in St. James, Mo. for 25 years. Carol was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly. Carol loved to read, go fishing, be outside gardening as well as baking for the deployed soldiers. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Carol Bock is survived by her surviving family which includes her husband of the home: Kevin Bock of St. James, Mo.; mother: Maralyn Schuenemeyer of Owensville, Mo.; two daughters: Amy Ybarra and husband Carlos of Jackson, Missouri; and Lesley Valencia and husband Brian of Honolulu, Hawaii; and three wonderful granddaughters: Selena and Sophie Ybarra and Briley Valencia; many other extended family members and dear friends.

Carol Bock is preceded in death by her father: Chester Schuenemeyer and one granddaughter: Kelsey Jensen.

Services
Carol Bock will lie in state on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the First Church of God in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services for Carol Bock will be conducted on December 12, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the First Church of God in St. James, Mo. with Don Carson offiiciating; Music will be provided by Claudine Parrish with Dorothy Daniels at the piano. Songs will be: Where Roses Never Fade; What A Day That Will Be and I'll Fly Away. Pallbearers will be: Travis Bock, Trevor Bock, Wes Deluca, Nathanial Siders, Norman Spurgeon and Don Hughes; honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Bock and Larry Bock.

Burial will be in the family plot in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.
