Carmel Elvin Mouser Jr. of St. James passed away Friday February 6, 2015 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. after a triumphant quest with a heart condition. He was 53 years 6 month and 1 day of age.

Carmel Mouser was born in St. Louis, Mo., on August 6, 1961 the son of the late Carmel Elvin Sr. and Emma Christine Head Mouser.

Carmel Mouser is survived by his wife: Cynthia Hoyer Mouser of St. James, one son Christopher Mouser and wife Misty of St. James. Daughters: Tiffany Schmitt and husband Michael of St. James and Trista Rogers and husband David of St. James, along with very special grandchildren: Jonathan Schmitt, Emma Rogers, Victory Usery, Christian Fales, Colin Mouser, kaden Robertson and Jacob Jones.

Services
He will lie in state on Sunday February 8, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday February 9, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Rev. Amy Turner of the St. James United Methodist Church officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Schmitt, Craig Mason, Bryn Lenderman, Derek Mercer, Chris Mouser and Jeffery Pitts. Honorary Pallbear Paul Hendrick. Burial was in the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery.
