Betty Lea Bailey of Licking, Mo. formerly of St. James passed away at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Mo., on Wednesday January 14, 2015. She was 81 years 9 months and 9 days of age.

Betty Bailey was born April 6, 1933 in St. James the daughter of the late Howard and Sarah Hicks Ware.

On May 3, 1952, Betty was united in marriage to Morris Bailey. He entered into rest on September 10, 1984.

Betty Bailey is survived by three grandsons: Anthony Wayne Bailey and wife Lori of Licking, Mo., Jason Bailey and wife Rhonda of Union, Mo., and Timothy Bailey of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and one granddaughter: Ruth Walls of St. James.

Betty Bailey is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Morris Bailey one son Morris Andy Bailey who entered into rest May 1983, one Brother Robert Ware, one Sister Carmelett Mickey Platt and one grandson Brian Bailey.

Services
Betty Bailey will lie in state 6-8 pm Sunday January 18, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, mo.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 19, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Brother Jerry Baumann officiating. Pallbears will be Anthony Bailey, Jason Bailey, Don Usery, Larry Usery, Dale Roark, Kevin Tiberghin and Dru Coverdall. Burial will be in the family plot at the Adams Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
