Obituary

Bernadine Mary Cole of Rolla, Missouri passed away Thursday March27, 2008 at the Heritage Park Nursing Home in Rolla, Mo. She was 80 years 11 months and 26 days of age.

Bernadine Mary Cole was born March 30, 1927 at River Aux Vaus, Missouri the daughter of the late Oscar and Cecelia Govro Govreau.

On November 16, 1963 at Farmington, Mo; Bernadine was united in marriage to John W. Cole.

Bernadine is survived by her loving husband John W. Cole of Rolla; Sisters: Patricia Estes and husband James of San Louis Obiso, California; Rita West of Tuscon, AZ and Brother - In - Law Harry Russel of DeSoto, Mo. Brothers: Oscar Govreau Jr. and wife Linda of Fredricktown, Mo., and Bill Govreau and wife Kitty of Silinia, KS., along with many nieces and nephews. Bernadine will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bernadine is preceded in death by her parents, and one Sister Dorothy Russel.

Bernadine Cole worked as a LPN at the City Hospital in St. Louis as a Lab Tek and then worked for the Mineral Hospital in Flat River. After moving to Rolla she worked at the Phelps County Regional Medical in the Long Term Care for many years.

Bernadine was active member at the First Presbyterian Church in Rolla, Mo., and was a member of the Eastern Star in Rolla.

Services
Bernadine Cole will lie in state from 4-8 pm Sunday March 30, 2008 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Eastern Star Services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Sunday.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday March 31, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church in Rolla, Mo. with Lee Jennings Officiating. Pallbears will be family and friends. Burial will be in the Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be given the the Alzheimers Association. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
