Amelia "Susie" Skouby was born on August 12, 1925  in Perry, IL to her parents Ernest and Helen (Geisendorfer) Liehr. She was 93 years of age

Susie Skouby is survived by her children:  JoAnn Kinsey and husband Gary of Cedar Hill, TX; Craig Skouby and wife Judy of Vichy, MO;  daughter-in-law Donna Skouby of St. Jacob, IL; Jernsen Skouby and wife Jan of Belle, MO; Toni Dautenhahn and husband Fred of Vichy, MO;  Iver Skouby and wife Darlene of High Ridge MO and grandchildren Helen Strackeljahn and husband Samuel of Anchorage, AK; Matt Kinsey and wife Kami of Mansfield, TX; Jessie Anderson and fiancee Jake Lammers of Hartsburg, MO; Carmen Mann and husband Brad of Hartsburg, MO; Anthony Skouby and wife Corinne of Cibolo, TX; William Skouby and wife Leslie of Hartsburg, MO; Jerlin Basinger and husband Ray of Magnolia, TX; Carla Brakensiek and husband Phil of Marthasville, MO; Jarod Skouby and wife Annessa of Saint Jacob, IL;  Erika Pratte and husband Jake of Glen Carbon, IL; Sylvia Skouby of St. James, MO; Justin Skouby and wife Danielle of Hartsburg, MO; Chris Keeney and wife Karen of Jefferson City, MO; Mellissa Voigt and husband Chris of St. James, MO; Genny Hale and Heath of Rolla, MO;  Marie Dautenhahn; Wallie Dautenhahn and wife Monica; Artie Dautenhahn and wife Stephanie; Cara Wisler and husband Robert: Ashley Skouby and Cody of St. Louis, MO.   There are numerous additional great and great-great grandchildren that blessed her life.

Susie is preceeded in death by her parents; eight siblings; the father of her children, Anton Skouby; a son, Eric Skouby; and a grandson, Jacob Skouby.

Visitation for Susie Skouby will be on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3 PM at the High Gate Baptist Church with Doug Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Kinsey, William Skouby, Justin Skouby, Anton Skouby, Jarod Skouby and Chris Keeney. Internment will be at the High Gate Cemetery.
