Althea Wynette Southard of St. James passed away Sunday January 15, 2012 at the Rolla Manor Care Center of Rolla. She was 78 years 11 months and 25 days of age.

Wynette Southard was born January 21, 1933 at Lanes Parie, Mo., the daughter of the late Gilbert Arnold and Ethel Irene (Mosher) Moreland.

On April 7, 1951in St James, Wynette was united in marriage to Roy Arthur Southard. He entered into rest February 16, 2007.

Wynette Southard is survived by her daughter: Sandra Kay Southard of Rolla, Brothers: Arnold Eugene Moreland and wife Anna Marie of Holt Summit and Rainey Moreland and wife: Tillie of St. James along with sister-in-law: Annetta Moreland of Vichy. She is further survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one Daughter: Tammy Wynette Southard and one son: Roy Eugene Southard; one brother:
Bob Moreland.

Services
Wynette Southard will lie in state from 6-8 P.M. Monday January 16, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday January 17, 2012 at the Church of the Nazarene in Rolla, Mo. with Jonathan Young and Leslie Koerber officiating. Pallbears will be nephews. Burial will be in the family plot at the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Vichy, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
