IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alison
Satterfield
November 29, 1962 – May 5, 2025
Alison Satterfield passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025 at the age of 62. A lifelong Christian and devoted member of High Gate Baptist Church since 1992, Alison will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and the steady love she gave her friends and family. Known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, Alison touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She lovingly served her Lord as she taught her adult Sunday School class and played the piano for many years.
Alison was employed with the St. James Public Schools system for over 25 years, and left a lasting impact on countless students, colleagues, and families through her kindness, integrity, and tireless work ethic.
Her family and home meant the world to her. She enjoyed living in the country, riding horses, and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Holidays and family celebrations were special times that she loved; she especially loved decorating her home for Christmas, and looked forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus all year long.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Quentin Satterfield; her loving son, Clifton Satterfield, daughter-in-law Amanda; and her cherished grandchildren, Malcolm, Charlotte, and Eileen. She will be missed by her sister, Dawn Kee; brother, Chris Oberlander; and their families. Alison also leaves behind her niece, Mychelle McGlynn, and Mychelle's children, Johnathan and Emma, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roanna and Jacob Oberlander; sister, LuAnn Gaynor; and stepdaughter, Heather Kile, whose memories Alison always carried with love and grace.
