Alexis (Alex) Michelle Shaffer of St. James, Mo. passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Alex was 12 years, 11 months and 2 days of age. Alex Shaffer was born on June 13, 2000 in Springfield, Mo. to her parents: Cris Lamar and Regina K. (Wooley) Shaffer. Alex Shaffer is survived by her parents: Cris Lamar and Regina K. (Wooley) Shaffer; one sister: Nicole Faith Shaffer of St. James; maternal grandparents: Floyd and Carol Wooley of St. James; one aunt: Lori Valverde of Waynesville, Mo.; and two uncles: Tony Wooley and wife Lisa of Huntsville, Texas; and Brad Shaffer of California. Preceding Alex Shaffer in death is her paternal grandparents: Kenneth and Jean Shaffer.

Services
Visitation for Alex Shaffer will be on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Fuenral Home in St. James. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Pentecostal Church in Vichy, Mo. with Tim Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery in rural St. James. Memorials maybe given to the First Pentecostal Church, Vichy. All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
