Alan Wayne Lacy of St. James passed away on March 19, 2021, at his home in St. James, MO. He was 68 years of age.

He was born April 4, 1952, in St. James, MO, the son of the late Ernest C. and Sue Clay Lacy.

Al, as he was known by his family and friends, loved the outdoors. He was a master gardener and when you drove on West James Boulevard you could see his well-manicured garden. He never used anything out of his garden for himself, but always gave it to his family and neighbors. Al was a meat cutter in local grocery stores for several years, and for many years he worked in tackle shops and sporting good stores. He worked at DJ package in St. James for many years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister Sandra Gibson of St. James, MO, Diana Lynn McGimpsey from the state of Oregon, and Linda Kay Stone of the state of California. Along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Clavin Lacy.

His ashes will be scattered by his family in one of his favorite places.
