William Joseph Swafford

William Joseph Swafford of Rolla, Mo. passed away on April 21, 2018 at his home in Rolla, Mo. He was 63 years, 7 months and 12 days of age.

William Swafford was born on September 11, 1954 to his parents: George and Martha Marie Parrish Swafford in Bloomington, Indiana. He was united in marriage to Kimmie Satterwhite on August 18, 2014 in Houston, Mo.

William Swafford was in the Air Force from May 23,1980 to August 31, 1994 when he retired. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

William Swafford is survived by his wife: Kimmie Satterwhite Swafford of Rolla, Mo.; one son: Jermie Garcia of Modesta, California; four daughters: Alisha Cook of Rolla, Mo.; Alissa Wilcox of Houston, Mo.; Angelia Swafford and Stephine Lynne Swafford both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters: Jeannie Ford and Rebecca Doerflinger both of Fulton, Mo. Along with grandchildren Ethan, Chance, Tieler, Marley, Marshall, and Ammie.

Preceding William Swafford in death is his parents: George and Martha Marie Parrish Swafford.

Visitation for Joseph Swafford will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6 - 8 pm at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the New Life Worship Center in St. James, Mo. with Allan Smith offiiciating. Pallbearers will be Ethan Mitchell, Chance Mitchell, Dan Swafford, Gene McCalister, Dorian D'Aira and Justin Wilcox. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. with full military honors.
