Sivila (Reid) Rodgers

Sivila Rodgers of Vichy, Missouri passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Linn Living and Rehab in Linn, Missouri. She was 92 years, 5 months, and 26 days of age.

Sivila Rodgers was born on September 10, 1925 in St. Louis, Mo. to her parents: Frank Henry and Elenora Spencer Reid. She was united in marriage to Everett M. Rodgers on September 19, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo. Everett M. Rodgers passed away on May 8, 1983.

Sivila Rodgers was a loving person to all. She loved all kinds of flowers. She was a hard worker all of her life.

Sivila Rodgers is survived by three sons: Frank Rodgers and wife Suk of St. Louis, Mo.; Bob Rodgers of St. Louis, Mo.; and Mike Rodgers of Vichy, Mo.; daughter: Carolyn Bailey and husband Phil of Vichy, Mo.; brothers: Joe Reid of Illinois, Jeff Michael Reid, John Reid, and Jacky Reid all of Texas; sisters: Ruth Reid of St. Louis, Mo., Mary Reid, Rita Simmons, and Evelyn Veal all of Texas, six grandchildren: Jasa, Armijo, Bobby, Brian, Angela and Jacob along with one great-grandchild.

Preceding Sivila Rodgers in death is her parents: Frank Henry and Elenora Spencer Reid; husband; Everett M. Rodgers; one daughter: Sharon Driskell; two brothers: Sargent and Pat Reid; one sister: Sandra Reid and one grandchild: Kim.

Visitation for Sivila Rodgers will be on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Brother Terry Knight officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Rodgers, Bob Rodgers, Brian Rodgers, Jacob Bailey, John Reid, and Joe Reid. Jeanette Ashley will be the organist. Songs will be Just A Closer Walk With Thee and The Old Rugged Cross.
