Sherri D. Dillard

Sherri D. Dillard of Sullivan formerly of St. James passed away November 14, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, following a lengthy illness. She was 55 years of age.

Sherri Dillard was born in St. Louis on November 10, 1964 the daughter of  John and Gloria Moehlmann Dillard.

She is survived by her father John Dillard of Cuba, brothers: Richard Moehlmann and wife Peggy of Imperial, Mo., Darrell Dillard and wife Pamela of Bourbon, Mo., and David Dillard and wife Delisa of Desoto, Mo., along with nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew. Thomas Moehlmann and wife Jennifer; Keith Moehlmann and wife Jennifer and their children A.J. and Penelope; and Sarah Hoehlmann.

She is preceded in death by her mother Gloria Moehlmann Dillard.

After high school Sherri attended and graduated from Sanford Business College. Sherri loved the outdoors, and especially the Great Smokey Mountains. She traveled to the Smokey's for many years even after her health was not good she and her father would go and Sherri would schedule dialysis at a facility in the Mountains. For many years she worked in the kitchen at Dierbergs in St Louis and was always bringing home delicious treats for the family. Sherri will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sherri Dillard will lie in state at 10:00 a.m. Monday November 18, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 18, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Douglas Lane officiating. Burial will be next to her mother in the family plot at the St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorial may be given to the Kidney Foundation in Memory of Sherri.
