Ryan Walter Moreland

Ryan Moreland of Rolla, MO passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home in Rolla, MO.  He was 28 years 6 months and 6 days of age.of age.

Ryan Moreland was born January 25, 1991 in Rolla, MO, to his parents: Michael and Karen Moreland. On September 23, 2011 he was married to Jodie Emory at Salem, Mo.

Ryan graduated high school in St. James, Mo., and then went on to welding school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved to weld. He and his wife Jodie moved back to Salem after he got thru welding school and he pursued his love of welding. Later he worked at MFA Plant in Salem and was currently working for Pratts Lawn and Garden in Rolla.

He is survived by his wife, Jodie ( Emory) Moreland of Rolla;  father, Mike Moreland of St. James, MO; mother: Karen Aytes Harris and husband Steve of Cuba, Mo.,brother, Shannon Moreland and wife, Emily of St. James, MO; grandparents: Rosella Aytes of Cuba, Mo., Rainey and Tillie Moreland of St. James; uncle, Keith Moreland and wife, Jill of Rolla, MO; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Woody Aytes and uncle, Jeff Aytes.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Ptichford officiating. Pallbearers will be John Nolan, Shannon Moreland, Keith Moreland, J. D. Williams, Andy Voepel and Will DeDual. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Vichy, Mo.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.
