Richard Guy Martin

Richard Guy Martin of St. James, Mo. passed away in St. Louis, on August 21, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident. He was 47 years, 3 months, and 28 days of age.

Richard Guy Martin was born on April 24, 1971 in Medasto, California to his parents Roger Lee and Pauline Lee Martin. He was united in marriage to Heather Michelle Copeland.

Richard Martin was a delivery driver of many local newspaper and also the owner of the St. James Taxi Cab Company.. He was a loving husband, father and uncle. He was dearly loved by everyone who knew him.

Richard Martin is survived by his mother: Pauline Lee Martin of Rolla. wife: Heather Michelle Copeland Martin of St. James; two sons: Justin Bumgardner and Syth Shockley both of St. James, brother: David Martin of Rolla, niece: Jade Martin and nephew: Damion Martin.

Richard Martin is preceded in death by his father: Roger Lee Martin.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 1:00 p.m.to 2:00 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, with Chuck Witmire officiating. Pallbearers will be: Justin Bumgardner; Sith Shockley; Dough Sanderfer; Brendon Sanderfer; David Martin; and Doug Bacon. Burial will be in the High Gate Church Cemetery.
