Pamala Kay (LaBarge) McAntire

Pamala Kay McAntire of St. James passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 at the Phelps Country Regional Medical Center in Rolla. She was 65 years 4 months and 22 days of age.

Pam was born June 21, 1953 in Rolla, the daughter of Leonard W. and Caroline J. Burnett LaBarge. 

She was united in marriage to George McAntire on September 24, 1976 in St. Louis, Mo.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband George of 42 years. Dear daughter Shellie Koons and husband Michael of St. James and dear son Mike Collier and wife Robyn of Doolittle, Mo., along with one brother; Larry LaBarge and wife Dollie of Granite City, Illinois., sisters: Leasa Elrod and husband Pete of Belle and Nancy Southard and husband Frank of Rolla. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Zachary, Brayden, Kaitlyn, Nicky and Mikey. Nieces and nephews: Julie Hammond, Ryan and Lucas Elrod; Cody and Countney Southard. Sisters and Brothers-In-Laws: James and Connie McAntire, Margorie Estep and family, Terri Copeland of St. James, along with her children: Robby and wife Leslie of Owensville; Rick Copeland of Owensville; Frankie Hance of St. James and Dan Copeland and wife Tammy of St. James and their daughter Makayla., Marie Yon and Family, Roseann and Tommy James and family and Mark East. Along with other nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Leonard W. LaBarge and brother-in-law Robert Copeland.

Pam loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Pam and George were inseparable, where you saw one you saw both of them. She worked for Copeland Bus for many years driving a Bus and also working in the office. She enjoyed the simple things of life. She was an active worker at the St. James Christian Church, where she worshiped for many years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Pam McAntire will lie in state 5-8 p.m. Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 15, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Doug Parks officiating. Pallbears will be Zachary Koons, Brayden Koons, Dan Copeland, Frankie Hance, Ryan Elrod and Lucas Elrod. Burial will be at the Wishon Cemetery in St. James. Memorials may be given to the family.
