Jacquelyn Jean Wynn of St. James, Mo. passed away on March 14, 2019 at the St. James Living Center in St. James. She was 87 years, 3 months and 1 day of age.
Jackie Wynn was born on December 13, 1931 to her parents: Horace Henry and Parilee Borders Wilson. She was united in marriage to Lowell Wynn on December 11,1954 in the St. James Christian Church.
Jackie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jackie was an accomplished artist. She arranged silk flowers for bridal parties and other events and for home decor. She liked to travel and work on family genealogy. She and her husband dedicated themselves to their church - contributing their time and talents. She arranged the flowers in the church sanctuary for over 35 years and painted the large mural in the baptistery. She volunteered at the Golden Age Center and was a member of the St. James Golf Club. She retired from the USGS Administrative Services Office after 30 years of service (1957-1987). She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jacquelyn is survived by her son: Kerry and daughter-in-law Charlotte Wynn of St. James; sister-in-law: June Wynn of St. James., and one grandchild: Kaitlyn Conlee and husband Dan of Springfield, Mo. along with nieces and nephew; great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceding Jackie in death are her husband Lowell Wynn on January 7, 2017; Sister: Joylene Wheeler; brother-in-laws: George J. Wynn Jr. and Ralph Wheeler.
Jackie Wynn will lie in state on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, with Rick Mosher officiating. Vocalist will be Stephen Brubaker and Janette Ashley at the Piano. Serving as pallbearers will be Alan Wynn, Marty Bunton, J.W. Copeland, Vernon Miller, Dan Conlee and David Spurgeon. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.
