Alice Marie (Ratliff) Deese

Alice Marie Ratliff Deese of Salem, Mo. passed away on July 16, 2018 at her home in Salem, Mo.  She was 60 years, 8 months  and 27 days of age.

Alice Marie Deese was born in Butler, Mo. on October 19, 1957 to her parents: Samuel C. and Agnes Brown Ratliff.   She was united in marriage to Mitchell Deese on June 10th, 1976 in California.

Alice was small in stature but could take care of anything.  Alice Deese worked at the Salem Newspaper for 32 years.  She loved to read and to ride a bike.  She was a very good artist and a very strong person.  Alice was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Alice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alice Deese is survived by her husband: Mitchell Deese of Salem, Mo.; sons: Clayton S. Deese and wife Jennifer of Salem, Mo.; and Brandon Shea Deese and wife Tiffany of Stockton, California; three grandchildren: Julia, Mitchell, and Payton.

Preceding Alice Deese in death are her parents: Samuel C. and Agnes Brown Ratliff.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,  Mo.
