Terry Soper was born January 8, 1958 in Rolla, Mo., the son of Alfred T. Soper and Hazel (Faulkner) Shelton.
On April 17, 1985, in Vienna, MO, Terry was united in marriage to Diana Roetto.
Terry Soper is survived by his wife, Diana Soper of the home in Belle, MO; Mother, Hazel Shelton and husband, Ed of Dixon, MO; Sons: Bryan Soper and Sandra of Holt Summit, MO and Bobby Soper of Belle, MO; Step Son Brandon Roetto of Niangua, MO; Brothers: Neil Soper and wife, Barb of St. James, MO, Carl Soper and wife, Sherry of Fordland, MO and John Ray Soper and wife, Eva of Houston, Texas; Sister, Bettie Joe Keasling and husband, Clifford of St. James, MO and one grandson, Ivan Soper.
Terry was a veteran of the US Navy; he was on major command on the USS ALAMO. After returning from his service in the Navy, he was employed in the timber business as a logger.
Memorial services with full military honors will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Bart Larson, Hospice chaplain, officiating
