Norma Ruth (Henry) Hart

Norma Hart of Rolla, Missouri passed away on June 8, 2016 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri.   She was 87 years, 1 month and 26 days of age.

Norma Ruth Hart was born on April 13, 1929 in Desloge, Missouri to her parents: Earnest Allen and Julia Edith Hurt Henry.  She was united in marriage to Harold K. Hart on June 19, 1948,  who preceded her in death on August 15, 2013.

Norma was a loving caring wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking and cooked everything from scratch.  She was well known for her fried chicken.  She loved to garden and plant flowers. Norma enjoyed knitting and quilted and had given many of her heirlooms to her family. Norma and her husband Harold always worked together.  Years ago they purchased an appliance store in Rolla from Harolds's uncle and owned and operated it for over 30 years.  They farmed near High Gate for many years. Norma Hart was a secretary-treasurer of the High Gate Baptist Church where they attended before declining health. Norma was a loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Norma Hart is survived by her dear son: Robert H. Hart and wife Susan of Rushford, Minnesota. three brothers: William Henry of Cook Station, Mo. and Darel Henry of St. James, Mo. and  and Louie Henry of Cook Station, Mo.; one sister Becky Bradham of St. Louis, Mo.; two sister-in-law's: Opal Henry of Rolla, Mo. and Betty Henry of Clovis, Ca.; two grandchildren: Victoria and Chis Pierret and Ericia and A.J. Cook and three great-grandchildren: Lucas Pierret, Simon Pierret and Kadence Cook.

Preceding Norma Hart in death is her husband Harold K. Hart on August 15, 2013, her parents: Earnest Allen and Julia Edith Hurt Henry; three brothers: Joseph Henry; Raymond Henry and Harold Henry; one sister Edith Schroeder along with infants.

Visitation for Norma Hart will be on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Tim Cook officiating.  Pallbearers will be: Frankie Henry, Louie Henry, Kenny Henry, Gale Huffman, Roger Parsons, and Jamie Crump.   Burial will be in then High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery in St. James, Mo.

Memorials maybe given to the High Gate Baptist Church or GreenTree Christian Church.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
