Margaret Irene Jose

Margaret Irene "Teedle"  Jose passed away at her home in St. James on September 4, 2017.   She was 77 years,  2 months, and 22 days of age.

Margaret "Teedle" Jose was born on June 13, 1940 in St. James  to her parents: Lyman and Edna Geren Skyles.  She was united in marriage to James Riley Jose on May 15, 1971 in St. James.  James Jose passed away on September 3, 2007.

She  loved painting ceramics and tending her flowers.  She enjoyed sewing; she was a very good seamstress.  She worked for California Manfacturing Co., the shoe factory in Steelville, and Gencore.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret Jose is survived by her brothers: Lyman Skyles and wife, Dora of Kennett, Mo., Chuck Skyles and wife, Connie Skyles of Rockwall, Tx., Harry Skyles and wife, Betty of Jacksonville, Ark., Richard Skyles of St. Louis, Mo. and Norman Skyles and wife, Mary of Salem, Mo.; sisters:  Mary , Anna and Dorothy Skyles all of St. James, Mo., Edith Schoyer and husband, Dave of Cuba, Mo., Sharon Jones and husband, Louis of Longview, Texas,Carla Scantlin and husband Charles along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother: George Skyles.

Visitation for Margaret Jose will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Pastor Frank Brooks officiating.  Pallbearers will be:  C.J. Scantlin, James Scantlin, David Scantlin, James Skyles, Edward Courtway, and Derek Scantlin.  Songs  will be " The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden".  Burial will be in the Wishon Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the Jose family.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
