Jo Ann (Brune) Feeler

Jo Ann Feeler of St. James passed away at the Medical Center in Columbia, Mo. following a brief illness. She was 78 Years and 20 Days of age.

Jo Ann was born July 13, 1937 at Brinktown, Mo., the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Louise Wulff Brune.

On October 11, 1958 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Brinktown, Mo., she was united in marriage to Norman Feeler.  He survives at the family home in St. James.

Mrs. Feeler is survived by her beloved husband Norman, of the home and one dear daughter Stephanie Meurer and her husband John of St. James., along with her very special grandchildren: J. Meurer and his wife Shea, and Whitney Toosley and her husband Daniel, and equally special great-grandchildren J.V., Emma, McKenna and Sadie., and dear friend of the family Pattie Cox of St. James who Jo Ann and Norman loved very much and treated her as their own.

Jo Ann loved her family, and it was very important to her.  Jo Ann and Norman being married  almost 60 years always had a special bond that few have. Jo Ann worked beside her husband with the farm and the family business but she always had time for her daughter and son in law; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jo Ann will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jo Ann Feeler will lie in state Tuesday,  August 4, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Brinktown, Mo. with Father Charles Pardee officiating; with burial in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott and Kerry Feeler, J. Meurer, Daniel Toosley, Pete Brune and Jim Black. Memorials may be given to the Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.  On-line condolences may be given at the funeral home website www.jonesfunerals.com.
