Jewell "Julie" Pauline Henley Quaranta Candreia of Cuba, MO passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Silverstone Place in Rolla, MO. She was 74 years of age.
Julie, the daughter of the late Wallace Lee and Ruby Lenore Branstetter Henley, was born July 12, 1942 in Lake Dick, Arkansas.
She was united in marriage to Victor Anthony Quaranta in December 23, 1958, and to this union, four children were born. Victor entered into rest in 1992.
On February 14, 1999, she was united in marriage to John Gilbert Candreia. He entered into rest on May 3, 2017.
Julie is survived by two sons: Victor Anthony Quaranta, Jr and wife, Fely of Chelan, WA and David Allen Quaranta of Cuba, MO; two daughters: Vickie Gail Zimmermann of Rolla, MO, Lenora Ann Jensen and friend, Joe Moreland of Rolla, MO and stepdaughter: Bertha Jackson of Lake City, Florida; two brothers: Bill Henley and wife, Edith of Wenatchee, WA and Dale Henley and wife, Christy of Washington; two sisters, Levita Henley of Spokane, WA and Evelyn Moore of Chicho, TX; six grandchildren: Jewlia, Melonie, Miranda, Preston, Lisa, and Ryan; two great grandchildren: Chase and Caylee along with a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Quaranta; husband, John Candreia; four brothers: Charles Henley, Kenneth Henley, Ray Henley, and Joe Henley; one sister, Lora Jagla.
"Julie", as she liked to be called, was an quid photographer, loved to cook large meals for her family, enjoyed gardening, whistling, dancing, traveling and was loved by all who knew her. She was a consumate caregiver, indeed, working at the Missouri Veteran's Home for the better part of thirty years. Wherever she was, it was "home". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO with Steven Wick officiating.
