Harold Dana Wright

Harold Dana Wright of St. James, Mo. passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo.  Harold Wright was 87 years 11 months, and 9 days of age.

Harold Wright was born on January 23, 1929 to his parents: Louis Russell and Kathryne Leslie Wright in White River Junction, Vermont.  Harold was united in marriage to Shirley Edwards on July 18, 1953 in West Springfield, Massachusetts. 

Harold Wright served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He received a medal while in service which was World War II Victory Medal.  He loved his family and to spend time with them. Harold was very active in the community; he was a long time active member of the St. James Kiwanis members having served as Past President, the chairman of many events and committees along with receiving the Life Time Achievement Award from the Kiwanis Club.

Visitation for Harold Wright will be from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo

Services for Harold Wright will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. Pastor Mike Summers, from St. James United Methodist Church will officiate the service.  Music will be provided by the Church. Full Military Honors will be provided following the service.

Memorials may be made to St. James Kiwanis in St. James, Mo.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
