George Ernest Weaver Jr. was born on January 8, 1926 in Carthage, Mo. to his parents George Ernest Sr. and Florence Williams Weaver.  He was united in marriage to Jessie Rose Weaver.

Vernon, Mo.; along with grandchildren: John and his wife Jennifer, Jessica, and Katie; great-grandchildren: Mazie, Sadie, and Jackson.

Preceding George Weaver Jr. in death are his parents: George Ernest Sr. and Florence Williams Weaver; and his wife Jessie Rose Weaver  on October 6, 2006.

George was a devoted family man; he loved spending time with his wife and daughters.  And, if icecream was involved it was all the better.  George Ernest Weaver Jr. worked as a Commercial Specialist for the Railroad for 30 years. He also served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  During his retirement, he was able to spend time on a hobby that he loved, black smithing.  He shared this love with others each year at the Meramec Iron Works Day. He enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions;  he was always on the hunt for a bargain.  He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church where he served as deacon.  His walk with the Lord was of utmost importance to him, and he spent many hours reading his Bible daily.    He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
