Gayle Ray Martin of St. James, Mo. passed away at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. on October 20, 2016. He was 75 years, 8 months, and 11 days of age.
Gayle Ray Martin was born on February 9, 1941 in St. Louis, Mo. to his parents: Wilford and Velma Barnett Martin.
Gayle Martin was a loving father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gayle Martin is survived by his children: Son: Tim Marti and wife Sarah of St. James, Mo., three brothers: Bill Martin of Gray Summit, Mo., Frank Martin of Chamois, Mo.; and Dennis Martin of St. James, Mo.; along with four grandchildren: Cierra, Dustin, Brandon, and Stephanie.
Preceding Gayle Martin in death is his parents: Wilfrod and Velma Barnett Martin; one daughter: Ruth Ann Martin; two brothers: Fred and Clay Martin; and two sisters: Dorothy and Olive Moreland. Along with brother-in-law: Herman.

Gayle Ray Martin will lie in state on Tuesday October 25, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until time of the funeral at 2:00 P.M., at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted on 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 26, 2016 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Don Lowery and Bradley Dimock officiating. Music will be Amazing Grace; The Old Rugged Cross; and Jealous of the Angels. Burial of the ashes will be in the family plot at the Country Side Memorial Gardens in Owensville, Mo.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
