Garry Kenneth Williams Sr.

Garry Kenneth Williams Sr. of St. James, Mo. passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.  Garry Williams was 54 years, 8 months and 5 days of age.

Garry Williams Sr., was born on December 6, 1960 in Phelps County to the late Fred and Emily Elizabell Elms Williams.

Garry loved to work on cars, he did many frame off restorations. He enjoyed restoring cars to their original beauty.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharge in 1980. He was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas where he served as a Cannon Crewman, receiving decorations of an Expert in Hand Grenade and Expert Marksman with an M-16 Rifle.  After his military career, Garry worked for the St. James Ambulance Service under the leadership of Rich and Barb Wirz.

Garry Williams Sr. is survived two sons: Gary Kenneth Williams, Jr. of Rolla, Mo. and Allen Cale Williams and fiancée' Samantha Marie Brinker of St. James, Mo.; one daughter: Michelle Louise Williams of Rolla, Mo.; three brothers: Eddie Williams of St. James, Mo.; and David and Mark Williams of Rolla, Mo. and one sister: Joyce Check of Springfield, Mo. along with 6 grandchildren and many friends.

A family gathering will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday August 23, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, with an Escort of the Patroit Guard Riders to the Burton Cemetery near Rolla, for a 1:00 p.m. Graveside Funeral with Full Military Honors.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
