Dee (Dolores) Jean Friede of St. James, Mo. passed away on June 20, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was 82 years, 9 months, and 22 days of age.
Dee Jean Friede was born on August 30, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to her parents: Arthur and Mamie Vogel Gabel. She married Donald Friede in St. Louis, Mo.
Dee Jean Friede was a housewife, business owner and mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dee Jean Friede is survived by two sons: Don M. Friede and wife Linda of Rolla, Mo. and David A. Friede and wife Denise of Rolla, Mo., sister: Marie (Joe) Hatfield of St. Louis, Mo.; along with five grandchildren: Kristen (Richard) Byfield, Elise Friede, Daniel (Cynthia) Friede, Drew (Brianne) Friede and Matthew Harper; and five great-grandchildren: Bryan Friede, Jason Friede, Delaney Hinds and Ryder Byfield, Abbie Martin, Richard S. Byfield, Josie Byfield.
Preceding her in death is her parents: Arthur Gabel and Mamie Vogel Gabel and her husband: Donald Friede and one brother: Robert Gabel.
Visitation for Dolores Friede will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Stephen Brubaker officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens in Cuba, Mo.
